Teaching aids for work with verbs of movement at elementary level in Russian language teaching

4 TITLE: Teaching aids for work with verbs of movement at elementary level in Russian language teaching SUMMARY: This diploma thesis deals with the topic of Russian verbs of movement. The aim of the thesis is to compile a comprehesive set of practical exercises and additional teaching materials (work sheets), which can be used as a supporting material in Russian language teaching. The set of practical exercises and additional teaching material is suitable for students at the age of thirteen years and above. The thesis is divided into two parts - theoretical and practical. The teoretical part defines verbs of movement from a linguistic aspect and generally characterizes the didactic approaches to teaching foreign language grammar. Practical part includes a comprehensive set of practical exercises and additional teaching materials focused on a presentation and practice of selected verbs of movement. Using school garden to teach biology in ZŠ Hostýnská school

The thesis aims on complex description of environmental features of ZŠ Hostýnská school ground and evaluating its using for teaching biology. In theoretic part the importance of school grounds for educating is introduced, history of school gardens and current state of their using is described. Next part is focused on current using of school ground and description of its environment. Floristic investigation made by author in 2014-2015 is included. In frequent visits author found and determinated 117 species of vascular plants, which is a sign of relatively high biodiversity. Finally using of school ground is compared with school book and key competences. Plans and suggestions for future improvements are given. Five work sheets with methodic suggestions are included.
Language of SMS and French as a foreign language

in English with English title of the thesis: Language of SMS and French as a foreign language The central topic of the thesis is the language of short text messages (SMS) and/or the one of chat and their application in teaching of French as a foreign language (fr. abbreviation F.L.E., français langue étrangère). The aim is to answer the question so as to how to grasp linguo- didactically this modern sociolect of young users (not only) of French, typical of written communication via digital technologies, with the purpose of the purely practical use in the classes of French. Firstly, a linguistic description will be given in order to understand the mechanisms of the explored language code not only in French, but also partly in Czech and English, as well as the determination of the position of the SMS language as a socio-cultural phenomenon in the present-day French. The following research will be dealing with the identification and the analysis of the teaching activities using the SMS language found in approximately fifty text books of French intended for the learners of levels A1, A2, B1, B2. Work sheets focused on the relation between whole and its parts

The bachelor's thesis deals with children's perception of the whole and its parts, when working with worksheets. Worksheets are not understood separately, but are integrated in a specific didactic structure within a school project focused on Prague's legends. The work presents a selection of activities formulated to the created worksheets, which are solved by different approaches. The presented work is based on the theoretical part which is focused on preschool children, pre-mathematical literacy and worksheets. The practical part consists of the created worksheets, tasks and their characteristics. The use of worksheets during practise in kindergarten was monitored in a qualitative research on a sample of thirteen preschool children of one kindergarten. All worksheets were debating the matter of "the whole and its parts", each in a different way. The solution process presupposes activities connected with comparison, reasoning, with arrangement, sorting, assembly and decomposition. The process of solving tasks by children is recorded on video and then analyzed. Sewage Treatment Plants and their Applications in Basic School Education in the District of Benešov

The objective of the Diploma Thesis, which is divided into two parts, is to summarize the issue of wastewater treatment for teaching purposes. In the theoretical part, it is possible to find interesting facts from the history, the beginnings of sewerage in the Czech, treatises on sewage, urban and industrial sewage. The thesis describes waste water, its composition and explains the concept of sewerage. The most extensive chapter is the section on sewage treatment plants. It deals with the type of sewage plants, cleaning processes and water and legislation. Readers will be informed about the drainage in Benesov and the sewage treatment in this city. An integral part is the issue of sewage treatment plants for family houses and root cleaner. The empirical part focuses of the questionnaire examines the relation of school facilities to sewage treatment and especially the use of worksheets. Quality of Worksheets in the Czech republic for developement of Pre-mathematics literacy

The Final thesis deals with the evaluation of worksheets based on pre-mathematics literacy. The analysis of 190 worksheets is supported with five chosen key criteria. This analysis is compared with the analysis of solutions of both, the selected worksheets of 50 students and 21 children of the pre-school age. This comparison of results shows the need of professional evaluation and correction of the worksheets from the mathematics, language and didactic angle of view just before their release. Literary workshop by leisure time educators - selected works by children´s book author Markéta Zinnerová

Abstract This dissertation is aimed at exploring the utilization of select works by children's book author Markéta Zinnerová in literary education. The selected texts all feature a child protagonist in a difficult life situation with regards to their immediate or wider family circle. The vantage point was primarily the ouvre of M. Zinnerová, particularly the titles Indiáni z Větrova ('The Indians from Větrov'), Tajemství proutěného košíku ('The Secret of the Woven Basket'), and Kde padají hvězdy ('Where Stars Fall'). The dissertation is divided into a theoretical and a practical part. The theoretical part contains first a description of the general characteristics of narrative prose from the life of children with an emphasis on the issues of personal and social education. Furthermore, it focuses in detail on the utilisation of prose in literary education in primary schools, the methodology and different types of literary analysis and the insertion of all these activities into the relevant curriculum. The practical part deals with concrete classical and activising methods of application with regards to select texts from M. Zinnerová's works. The aim of the dissertation was to create work sheets based on excerpts from the prose of this author and to test them in practice in the environment of an after-school care centre where primary school children were to engage with them. This part of the dissertation describes said work sheets as well as the procedural methodology and the reasoning behind their creation. The work sheets were used when working with 3rd -grade school children in an after-school care centre. The ways in which they cooperated with us and were captivated by the texts, as well as the precise way in which the activities involved in working with the proposed sheets proceeded are described in the following chapter of the practical part. The concluding reflection upon the utilisation of the work sheets proposes certain possible corrections, expansions or other possible uses of these work sheets.
